"Just Folks: A Firesign Chat" Re-released on CD
The Lodestone Catalog today announced the re-release of Firesign
Theatre's comedy classic "Just Folks: A Firesign Chat".
It's January, 1977. James Earl (Jimmy) Carter has been elected, and he
will soon be sworn in as the 39th President of the United States. The
Firesign Theatre (fresh off their own Surrealist Party Campoon) takes on
the task of welcoming the new President and introducing him to the
residents of his new home, DuCktown, USA, which is inhabited by the
usual unusual Firesign characters, from drunkards to truckers, and from
TV hosts to rocket scientists.
Join Peggy Blisswhips, Peter Protector, Mutt N Smut, Werner Von Hardhat,
Little Guy -- Bill Collector, and Ben Bland (and his all day matinee),
plus, the occasional Indian, who is passed around for good measure.
This CD is being released in cooperation between Firesign Theatre
Records and The Lodestone Catalog.
The CD is available only through The Lodestone Catalog at:
