I started playing the Nick Danger game last night. I
thought I was gonna get bored of it after ten. Then I
realized it was 4 AM and I'd been playing since
midnight. WOW! Or should I say, ARRRRGH! Or both?!?

I'm stuck in one place... the chemical! What am I supposed to do with it, anyway? It tastes terrible (or
makes me ralph, and I prefer being Barney). Am I using it in the wrong way? I noticed I can trade it back at the bank for whatever with which I initially came... but after that, all is gone for me.

In case people wonder about me (because I'm pretty new here, and possibly one of the few who isn't already shiny), allow me to introduce myself...

I got into Firesign Theatre through my (much older)
friends. See, I'm 27. I was coming into this world when
the four were already warning us that in the next
world, we're on our own. I didn't really get all the
jokes (heck, not even 5%), but those I did made me
laugh.

I first found two well-worn LPs at the campus radio at University. When they liquidated the LPs, I got 'em. "...Rat..." and "...Bozos..." (and imagine hearing my nickname, so close to the beginning of Side 2!) Still, (most) everything flew over my head.

Then I bought "...Immortality..." Often participating
in community radio, I laughed my head off from start to
finish.

Then I bought "...Boom..." Didn't have much time to
listen to it, too many CDs were flying in the door.

Then came "...Bride..." Loved it. Great to listen to on long drives. So I returned to "...Boom..." Have to
admit, I heard something I liked too.

Then tracked down clearance copies (MoFi, love those guys all around) of "...Shadows..." and "...Clowns...".
Was partially disappointed when I saw
that "...Shadows..." was something like a live "Best of". Was amazed at how prescient parts of "...Clowns..." was! (This was already the time of Afghanistan.

Imagine my pleasure when I found "All Things Firesign" (loved it) and "Papoon for President" (divided). I was so overjoyed that I even bought a CD copy of "...Dwarf..." About half of it flew over my head, but laughed a lot at what I understood when I listened to it yesterday.
