NPR makes no friends by claiming the piece was "incomprehensible". I was stoned off my ass in 74, and i understood every word of it. Controversial, maybe. Thought provoking, possibly, especially of thoughts that might not be encouraged these days. Oh, well, NPR's loss. I played it during my thanksgiving mix anyway, right after Alice's Restaurant.
