||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 4 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
||||||||| Tweeny rushes off, saying "8:00 PM? Mark Time is almost on! Where's a radio?"
||||||||| Catherwood strides in with a trumpet, plays a fanfare, and proclaims "Nine PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024 - I now declare alt.comedy.firesgn-thtre's chat officially open!" -- then he looks around at the empty room, looks at his watch, and mumbles "...am I early?"
||||||||| Outside, the 8:00 PM downtown bus from Billville pulls away, leaving Tweeny coughing in a cloud of diesel fumes.
||||||||| 8:00 PM: Beet jumps out of the hall closet saying "I've been listening to all of you talking about me for the past five minutes!"
Beet: good evening, friends.
||||||||| Catherwood trudges in at 8:00 PM, dragging Cease by one leg and asks "Can anyone vouch for this idiot?"
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 11 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
||||||||| Deputy Dang tiptoes in around 8:00 PM, trying to avoid Catherwood because of last week's "unpleasant incident."
Beet: Oops, once again jumped the gun.
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "I only lie, or I tell the truth. Heh - just lyin'."
Beet: Hi, Cease, Deputy.
Cease: Hi all
Tweeny: Howdy Beet, Cease, Deputy
Deputy Dang: Howdy, Beet! Howdy, Cease! Howdy, (Tweeny)!
Tweeny: oops, last week's show
Tweeny: I'll text the Program Director
Cease: Is this last week's show?
Beet: Hi, Tween (i f you're there).
Cease: it is indeed
||||||||| 8:00 PM: Mutt jumps out of the hall closet saying "I've been listening to all of you talking about me for the past half hour!"
Beet: Hey, Mutt.
Mutt: Was gettin’ a little stuffy on that closet, Catherwood
||||||||| Catherwood strides alongside Mutt and mumbles "Typing my name just to rile me, eh?"
Cease: I don't mind hearing my Spain trip again.
Cease: Hi Mutt
Tweeny: Hi Mutt
Mutt: Hiya Beet
Mutt: Hey Tween, cease and deputy
Tweeny: I'm contacting the Program Director about the fact that he's playing last week's show
Deputy Dang: Howdy, Mutt!
Mutt: Forward, into the past …
Cease: I put all these Proctor collages together over the past 2 weeks (a lot of work) along with the various bio collages and send them to Taylor a couple of days ago.
Cease: Hopefully they'll be then on their way to the Library of Congress
Mutt: Wow
Cease: I hope some of you watched the Melinda memorial last week.
Cease: We should listen to the audio here soonest.
Tweeny: Got a link Cease?
Cease: Very moving.
Cease: for what, tween?
Deputy Dang: I watched it a couple of weeks ago.
Tweeny: The Melinda Memorial
Cease: Melinda? yes: https://vimeo.com/998815356
Mutt: Feel so bad for Phil, but he’s a tough one to keep down
Cease: Procp posted it to Facebook shortly after it happened, Aug 11
Cease: very true, Mutt.
Tweeny: OK, here's the new show :)
Cease: Also Phil has A LOT OF FRIENDS
Cease: aha!
Cease: It's almost September.
Mutt: Yes he do, and I’m one of ‘em!
Cease: Phil has that wonderful riff in an earlier collage about how strsange it was to be in September and NOT in school, after he graduate from Yale. Sept had meant school to him all his life, at that point
Cease: Good for you, Mutt
Tweeny: OK, now that I know everything is working properly I'm off to the kitchen...
Cease: YOu better come, into the kitchen, cuz it's goin to be rain outside
Beet: Could you make me a sandwich?
Mutt: Hot dog, groatcakes!
Beet: Catherwood, make me a sandwich.
||||||||| Catherwood brings Beet a sandwich.
Cease: I'm off on another trip in Oct. Hope my wife will make me a tuna sandwich for the plane ride as she did for my trip to Spain in May
Cease: By the time I get to Santa Fe, everything will be closed.
Mutt: Tuna Over Spain - A Memoir
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "...And no Buddhist writers either!"
Cease: all the restaurants seem to close at 9
Cease: synchronicity: he said "new mexico"
Beet: I usually get a footlong from Subway for a flight.
Cease: Not fond of Subways. Loved Quisnos but it seems to have vanished, at least in Van
Cease: Really good bread
Mutt: More often then not I brown bag when traveling.
Cease: Yeah. My wife makes REALLY good tuna sandwiches.
Cease: Secret ingredients are grated carrots and green peppers
Beet: Many locals here like sanswiches from a chain called Sheetz,
Mutt: I figure I know what I have so I won’t be stressed or disappointed
Cease: true,Mutt
Mutt: Sheetz has some great stuff
Cease: we don't have in Van.
Mutt: I think they are an east coast US thing
Beet: They're starting to branch out.
Mutt: They “border” between Sheetz, WaWa and Royal Farms is pretty close to where Iam
Cease: Hating capitol of the world!
Mutt: They are all starting to poach each other’s turf
||||||||| Outside, the 8:00 PM downtown bus from Elmertown pulls away, leaving llanwydd coughing in a cloud of diesel fumes.
Cease: Hi llan
||||||||| Koyemsi steps in at 8:00 PM carrying an obsidian door knocker.
Beet: Hi, llan
Mutt: Hey Llan
||||||||| Koyemsi dashes out the back door as Mayor P'nisnose blasts through the front door holding a shotgun and shouting "Where's Koyemsi?! It's 8:00 PM and my ballot boxes haven't been stuffed yet!"
||||||||| Catherwood escorts Koyemsi into the room, accepts three dimes as a gratuity, mutters something about 8:00 PM, then departs.

Koyemsi: Except in my case, it's all actual audio that I recorded while channel surfing, rearranged into what I hope is a funny order
Cease: good for you!
Koyemsi: (Although you may recognize the sound of the chromium switch at the beginning and the end)
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "Shoes for Industry! Shoes for the Dead!"
Koyemsi: Anyway it took me way too long to make, but it's done now, and I thought some of you might enjoy it. Here's the link:
