||||||||| Tweeny - dead from the fiddlers
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
||||||||| Catherwood strides in with a trumpet, plays a fanfare, and proclaims "Nine PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024 - I now declare alt.comedy.firesgn-thtre's chat officially open!" -- then he looks around at the empty room, looks at his watch, and mumbles "...am I early?"
||||||||| Tweeny enters at 8:00 PM as Catherwood takes their hat and goat and dashes off to the Chapeau Manger.

||||||||| "8:00 PM? 8:00 PM!!" says Catherwood, "llanwydd should be here by now...oh, THERE you are!" as llanwydd enters and sits at the bar.
llanwydd: hi tween
Tweeny: Evenin' llan
||||||||| Beet sneaks in around 8:00 PM, trying to avoid Catherwood because of last month's "unpleasant incident."
Beet: Hey, Folks.
llanwydd: hi beet
||||||||| Catherwood walks in wearing his pyjamas, yawns, and mumbles "It's midnight here in New York city"...then he falls over and starts snoring loudly..
Beet: Hi, Llan.
Beet: Hey, Tween.
Tweeny: Yo Beet
Beet: These are really interesting from the perspective Firesign history. A different angle.
||||||||| Catherwood sneaks into the room, and snorts derisively "Announcing 'Cease', also known as 'Nancy' -- the time is 8:00 PM" -- then he slowly retires back into the Aviary...
Beet: Yo, Cease.
Cease: are we streaming from Bandcamp today?
Cease: my wife and i were just watching Nope on this computer. highly reccommended.
Beet: Any good?
Beet: I guess you already answered that.

Cease: some of the funniest commercials ever
Cease: Oh, it's the real neal young
Cease: i knew ossman did commercials for records, but never heard them.
llanwydd: it is hard to pronounce
llanwydd: you cant dance to that
Cease: this is pre-firesign, i think
llanwydd: aoxomoxoa was 1969
Cease: i read a bio of him. maron said it was a favourite and its ok, but could have lost a hundrfed pages easily.
Cease: 69? wow he was still doing it then
Cease: the bio obsessed with his endless movies which was really boring
Tweeny: I had no idea that FST advertised Hot Rats. How cool is that?

Cease: remeber when women were called chicks?
Beet: I have used the term myself.
llanwydd: they still are
llanwydd: only young women though
Cease: really? not by my 16 year old grand daughters
Beet: I think it came from W. C Fields, "My Little Chickadee"
llanwydd: I dont know. back in the 20s it was chicken
Cease: i know young women in mexico have been called "chicas" for a long time. i dont think its' coincidencal

||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 1 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
Tweeny: "Do not grow old, no matter how long you live. Never cease to stand like curious children before the great mystery into which we were born." ~ Albert Einstein
Cease: I can make a lot of new collages out of this
Tweeny: Yeah Cat, I'll bet :)
Tweeny: I'll bet most Fireheads don't know that FST made _actual_ commercials.
Tweeny: Maybe they'll release a compilatopn of all the faux commercials they did. That would also be fun.
Cease: you can do that yourself, tween
Tweeny: *compilation
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "I hate rich people. I hate them and their stupid problems."
Cease: taylor jessen doesn't have to do
llanwydd: I thought of borge when I saw the title

||||||||| Catherwood enters with Not Ed close behind, mumbles something about disrupting his 8:00 PM tree-stunting plans, and runs off to the vestibule.
Not Ed: Yo cats
Cease: Chico/Chica This Spanish term of endearment translates to “boy” or “girl”. It can be used to jokingly address your friend as “man” or “woman”. So just as you’d say “man, don’t worry about it”, that word “man” could be substituted for “chico” - and you’d say “chico, no te preocupes por eso”. There’s a plural version as well that you’ll hear, which is chicos, and you can use it to address a group of friends
Cease: hi not
Cease: you're here for most of my new collage
Not Ed: Hi C
Cease: i could drink that
Not Ed: haha
Cease: i got so i'd drink anything.
Cease: something i'd never say.
Tweeny: Hey Not Ed
Not Ed: Hi Tweeny
Cease: i'mv very particular in my tastes
Cease: tymonline: As slang for "young woman" it is first recorded 1927 (in "Elmer Gantry"), supposedly from U.S. black slang. In British use in this sense by c. 1940; popularized by Beatniks late 1950s.

Not Ed: sounds nice
Cease: do you know anything about leg cramps?
llanwydd: got to buy a bottle of rose water one of these days
Cease: i dont mean the internet, i mean experience?
llanwydd: I have had a few leg cramps. thats as much as I know

Not Ed: oh sorry I thought I heard Tippett talking in your collage
Cease: very little of my voice in this, didnt catch it

Tweeny: Yes, from the Shakedown Street album
llanwydd: I can usually recognize garcias guitar style
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 2 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
Tweeny: Until last time, again...
||||||||| "Hey Tweeny!" ... Tweeny turns, and sees Bradshaw approching with the handcuffs, and is dragged away, screaming "it's only 8:00 PM, I don't have to go yet!"...
llanwydd: oh, of course. classic dead
Cease: off we flit
||||||||| "8:00 PM? I'm late!" exclaims Cease, who then scurries out through the french doors and down through the brambles.
