DJTweeny: good to hear you're doing better Cease
Cease: Last year my wife got it first. Now, if it is covid, I hpoe she doesn't get it again as she's off to Australia and New Zealand next week.
||||||||| Catherwood leads Beet inside, makes a note of the time (8:00 PM), then fades off into the distance going on about the waiting room or the sitting room or something.
||||||||| With a theatrical clearing of his throat, Catherwood pipes up: "8:00 PM and late as usual, it's Merlyn, just back from Billville."
Beet: Howdy Folks!

||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "Duluth? Bucko, you can get Tierra del Fuego!"
llanwyddorsomeonelikehim: aha! thanks tween
Beet: My fave.
Deputy Dang: My first, and tied for fave.
Cease: My collage tonight is part one based on their recent interview with Jaron Lanier.
Cease: I had just moved to Japan when my friend sent me this album. It was magical.
Beet: I pee in the stream every day.
Deputy Dang: I used to have all of the dialog memorized. I just tried, and I am missing a few connector words, but overall, I mostly remember it all. It's such a good feeling. Thank you for being here (or there, I suppose) to share it.
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "Wake up - and consider your only logical choice."
Cease: We love it too, Dang.
Rufus T Firetween: ** Read about BOZOS at >> https://www.firesigntheatrelegacy.com/media/media.php?item=bozos-ln
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "What about my pickle?"
Cease: I did a collage recently about Canadian scientist/broadcaster David Suzuki, who talks about his love for peeing into streams.
Beet: I'm always quite relieved
Cease: It's in the water!
Beet: That's why it's yellow!
Cease: Speaking of Bear Whiz, we should listen to EYKIW soon.
Merlyn: catfish
Beet: In the old days, my father worked for two different breweries. Neither of them was Bear Whiz however.
Cease: Next couple of weeks, we'll be listening to Bergman's Digital Diner, what I'm guessing was a pilot for a radio series. I suspect the money didn't come through
Deputy Dang: Depending on universal chaos, I might have a guest for one of the Thursdays in February. I will certainly be sure we are both listening to the show that night.
Cease: This is SO much like Disneyland and Worlds Fairs
DJTweeny: The live version of this on Radio Now Live! is fantastic
Cease: although both of those overlap
Rufus T Firetween: ** Read about BOZOS at >> https://www.firesigntheatrelegacy.com/media/media.php?item=bozos-ln
Deputy Dang: Can only one overlap?
Cease: or dance on each other's laps
DJTweeny: heheh
Cease: a number of the pavillions disney designed for NY World's Fair then moved to Disneyland.
DJTweeny: The Worlds Fairs were fun
Cease: did a couple of collages about that, with allan gross, who lived close to worlds fair site.
DJTweeny: '64 and '67 here
DJTweeny: yeah, your Worlds Fair collages were great
Beet: I am very proud that Plano, Texas was the inspiration fo r Quid Malborg . . .
Merlyn: the firesign theare by lidt

||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "Shoes for Industry! Shoes for the Dead!"
Beet: cool, Tween
Cease: is that ross perot'
Cease: company?
Tweeny: The place was impressive. They looked looked like NASA Mission Control
Tweeny: Ross had sold it to GM by the time I joined them, but yeah
Beet: What is a Strone?
Tweeny: He made Perot Systems after EDS
Cease: beet, i think they're just playing with the sound of the word "stones"
Beet: The only way to create a universe is to plug in the female.
Cease: They do that ALL THE TIME.
Cease: indeed, beet
||||||||| Zen Cosmos waltzes in at 8:00 PM carrying an obsidian door knocker.
Beet: That's probably it.
Cease: hi zen

Cease: i'll upload the vid and put it up somewhere or just sent it whomever can do that. you tube has banned me for some reason.
Rufus T Firetween: whatever
Beet: Use Wetransfer to send video. You may know about it already.
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "It's like sitting in a big hand."
Rufus T Firetween: I can provide a place if you like Cease
Cease: it would have to be quite compessed to send.
Cease: i also have A FUCK OF A LOT of Firesign video from Elayne.
Cease: There must be a vast amont of this stuff among fans.
Cease: probalby everyone at their shows had phones
Beet: Boy, I would love to see some of those videos.
||||||||| Catherwood stumbles in at 8:00 PM, dragging InTheWood by one leg and asks "Can anyone vouch for this Firehead?"
Beet: Hey, Wood.
InTheWood: Back to the Shadows!
Deputy Dang: In college, someone told me that a "springhead" was a computer program that chooses words based on some random, or calculated, choice among recent previously-chosen words. I haven't found that particular definition online, only the definition of the head of a (water)spring. Years after hearing the word springhead, I learned about Markov Chains. I wonder if "springhead" was more/better known than Markov Chain at the time Bozos was created.
Cease: it will take me a long time to digitize it. but it'll be a project while Fumiyo is away.
Merlyn: hey inthewood
llanwyddorsomeonelikehim: hi woody
InTheWood: Hey, all. Amazing understanding of computer culture in this album.
Cease: never be amazed at firesign's knowledge of anything
||||||||| Catherwood interjects: "Won't spurt like the hosers!"
Beet: If you forget your memory of both the past and the future, you're just left with NOW, eh?
Deputy Dang: I heard this album long before I learned about computers
InTheWood: Tough grid, Mac...
Deputy Dang: Yes, Beet--that's why it's called the "present": it's a gift!
Beet: lol
Rufus T Firetween: ** Read about BOZOS at >> https://www.firesigntheatrelegacy.com/media/media.php?item=bozos-ln
Rufus T Firetween: 'It's A Gift' is some great W.C. Fields :)
Deputy Dang: I set a reminder to learn more about that.
Rufus T Firetween: where he buys an orange farm in California
Beet: Beautiful.
Rufus T Firetween: and it ends with the wind, as Humbolt County was started
