llanwydd: cool!
Cease: much of my life has been devoted to the firesign theatre.
DJTweeny: As Cat wanted to point out, we're playing the 21st century OZ episodes in chronicle order
DJTweeny: *chronological
llanwydd: I heard the 8 Shoes play this at town hall in nyc
Cease: or chronic order
Cease: you told that story inthe ossman piece, llan. great story
DJTweeny: nice, llan
Cease: canada is straight and hip at the same time. i like that
llanwydd: I really enjoyed that cat
Cease: hope there will be more in the future. i hated having to drag stories out of many people, but you i can always rely on.
llanwydd: canada has put out a lot of great stuff.
Cease: tween was going to do a similar thing about boom dot bust but that seems to have been delayed, or cancelled.
DJTweeny: love BDB, my fav of the 2000 Trilogy

Cease: yeah, bummer.
Rufus_T_Firetween: no doubt
Cease: this show wasn't very successful either. i was with bergman and ossman when they were planning this show. they asked how many listeners i thought they'd get and i told them think small numbers.
Cease: i think there was some considerable interest in the beginning, but by year 2 bergman was begging for money more than generating anything to send money for
Rufus_T_Firetween: Maybe I'll message the people who give them 'Likes' and ask why they don't join us ;)
Cease: good idea, tween.
Cease: this is a beautiful segment.

Lulu: In the beginning there was naught but dead air. And God turned on the light. Then low, but behold, there cometh one morning, a morning, and thence there was no - mourning. And that begat a new daytime, along with morning dry time, afternoon drive time, evening prime time, and late night crime time, in the darkness of looting. Thus waseth the word of our Gall. For we knowest not the Temptations, but deliver us unto the weevils, for mine is the powder, the glory whole what it is. And wheel us not into the vale of peers, for we wilt not; but blossom freely into the holy vessel. That iseth not the whore of Woebegotten, verily into the holy hostess of Canine.

Cease: Wonderful, Lulu
||||||||| Lulu rushes off, saying "3:00 PM? Mark Time is almost on! Where's a radio?"
