Cease: me too, cody
Commando Cody: Actually I can play a the guitar a bit.
Rufus_T_Firetween: kewl
Commando Cody: Until I listen to Kottke or somebody and then I just get depressed and wonder why I bother.
Cease: i took piano lessons for 10 years. i regret not keeping it up.'
Commando Cody: Of course my boy can play just about anything he touches.
Beet: Did a bit of drumming in ancient times.
Commando Cody: Same here Cease. Took lessons for bit as a kid, then dropped it till late high school
Commando Cody: I don't know what got me started agian but when i did I bascially learned to play rythm and got stuck singing because I could remember the words.
Cease: by the time i met my wife in 75, i hadn't played in 6 years, but sat down and played wonderfully for her.
Cease: alss, that was 45 years ago.
Rufus_T_Firetween: nice, Cease
Commando Cody: I guess getting sucked into the drama club in high school helped. Learned how to project.
Cease: it was worth all those piano lessons just for that, tween.
Rufus_T_Firetween: :)
Commando Cody: And the rest is history Cease. :)
||||||||| "Happy" Harry Cox pops in and say "I was right! Everything I knew WAS wrong! You CAN get "Profiles in Barbecue Sauce", chock full of meaty Firesign scripts!"
Cease: best 45 years of my life
Rufus_T_Firetween: nice work, Cease
Cease: being immersed in firesign all these years also very helpful
Commando Cody: LOL. Good timing on the song.
Cease: trains the brain
Commando Cody: I'm not inferring though.
Rufus_T_Firetween: synchronicity
Rufus_T_Firetween: (great Police album)
Cease: indeed, tween.
Cease: quite fond of the police.
Cease: isnt it strange how they expect charlie to pay for the tree?
Cease: anyone everf noticed that about this show?
Cease: yo dont see the other kids chipping in to pay for the tree
Commando Cody: Never gave it a thought before.
Cease: beet, do remember this one from last year?
||||||||| Chick Lambert fades in and says: "I have no idea who this Friedstein Theatre is, but they 're honing in on my territory over at Duke of Madness Motors. Give 'em the what for, Storm!" "RUFF! RUFF!"
Cease: maybe one needs a certain level of intoxication to bring on that insight
Commando Cody: I mean he always has a nickel for his sessions.
Cease: a nickel is less than the price of a tree by some magnitude, cody
Commando Cody: Given what i see around the local University sometimes, perhaps CB's parents were generous with the allowance money.
Beet: Which one/
Cease: cb's dad, like schultz's was a barber.
Cease: lower middle class.
Beet: Did you play Orson last year?
Cease: this?
Cease: i did a collabe about orson welles long ago
Beet: Yes
Cease: you mean this collage? yes.
Commando Cody: UofA. Or UArizona as they've tried to "brand" it these days.
Cease: thats why i asked if yhou remembered it
Beet: Another great storytelling voice.
Cease: proc has great tales of working with orson.
Rufus_T_Firetween: They must have respected Orson very much, as David named his kid after him
Commando Cody: Haircuts ain't cheap these days.
Cease: yes
Commando Cody: I forgot about CBsa dad being a barber.
Beet: That's an amazing anecdote.
Cease: and his other son named after preston sturgiss
Cease: austin turned me on to him.
Commando Cody: That's an interesting tibit of trivia.
Beet: Wells had the kind of voice that spelled authority. You would easily believe anything he said. Could have been a general or a president or king.
Commando Cody: I just about fell out of my chair a day ago when I found out about Mankiewicz.
Beet: What did you find out?
Cease: this is hilarious
||||||||| Catherwood stops by and announces "While you bozos sit here in the Waiting Room, why not shop at the Firesale store?"
