||||||||| Catherwood leads DJTweeny inside, makes a note of the time (8:30 PM), then fades off into the distance going on about the waiting room or the sitting room or something.

Rufus_T_Firetween: There's always a need for Firesign :)
Beet: Exactly
Beet: Hey, Mr Llan. How you be?
||||||||| 9:02 PM: Cease jumps out of the hall closet saying "I've been listening to all of you talking about me for the past hour!"
Rufus_T_Firetween: allo Cease
Beet: There's Dr Cease.
Beet: I hope you are feeling better this week, Cat.
Rufus_T_Firetween: Hope the air is easier to breathe
Cease: It is.
Beet: Fewer fires/
Cease: I was in very bad shape last week. Much better now that it's rained all week and washed the shit out of the air.
||||||||| "Happy" Harry Cox pops in and say "I was right! Everything I knew WAS wrong! You CAN get "Profiles in Barbecue Sauce", chock full of meaty Firesign scripts!"
Beet: ?
Beet: Very good to hear this.
Rufus_T_Firetween: Good to hear Cease
Cease: My health is rather fragile.
Rufus_T_Firetween: This is one of my fav FST bits
Cease: My wife as well. Very ill earlier this week. We're unneccessarily old.
Rufus_T_Firetween: Yeah Cease, I'm sure you have enough problems w/o nasty air :/
Beet: I remarked that it was very strange listening to your collage last week without your being here. You were missed.
Rufus_T_Firetween: Glad there's been improvement
Cease: Glad you missed me.
Beet: Our best to your wife.
Rufus_T_Firetween: Indeed
Cease: She has a condition called Meurnier's Syndrome which kicks in when environmental conditions decrease.
Rufus_T_Firetween: ehhh
Cease: I think Huey Lewis of the News has the same syndrome.
Rufus_T_Firetween: :(
Cease: I have bad lungs from childhood in LA and adulthood in Tokyo.

Rufus_T_Firetween: Yeah, I can imagine that Cat
Cease: Also, our aged cat Jazz wakes us up in the middle of the niight with his near death meowings so we are fucked in many ways.
Beet: From what I've seen, people in Tokyo were wearing masks even without a pandemic.
Cease: Indeed
Rufus_T_Firetween: Damn Cease :(
Cease: But we're ok Now!
llanwydd: you are lucky to have the clean air of canada, cat
Beet: Glad to hear it.
Cease: Tongiht is part one of my Math and Science collage duo. Next week is part 2. Then I'll take a break for a while.
||||||||| Catherwood tosses another cheese log on the fire and intones, "If you want to keep the cornstarch off your mukluks this season, buy a hoodie or a sweatshirt at the Firesign corner Cafepress store."
Cease: Well llan, we're spoiled because of clean air most of the time, but these aren't those times.
||||||||| Ralph Spoilsport drives in through the door and says "Buy a new or used T-shirt from the Firesign Theatre Cafepress store! Hurry before this sentence ends!"
llanwydd: sorry to hear it, cat
Cease: it's not just that we have to suffer bad air now. it's that we grew up with bad air, Fumiyo in Tokyo, me in LA before I moved to
Cease: Tokyo
Beet: I always laugh with this one.
Cease: So there is a long history of challenged breathing for us.
llanwydd: I see
Beet: Do you ever use oxygen canisters?
Cease: no
Cease: but i'm looking into such things
Cease: i just got off the air with the Atlantic Festival which i was involved with for the past 4 days. great stuff.
Beet: We should all research sources for such things. Things seem to be going in this direction.
Cease: yes beet
Beet: As a result of the "fake" climate change problems
Rufus_T_Firetween: Humans need to see themselves as part of a biosphere, rather than separate from it
Rufus_T_Firetween: These people know about it >> www.arcosanti.org
Rufus_T_Firetween: Phil & Melinda have been there
Beet: Are we going to become aware of it before it is too late?
Cease: the few of us who show up for firesign chat will not live long enough to see a better air, world. but hopefully my 4 grandkids will.
Rufus_T_Firetween: dunno
Cease: one must be hopefull, if one if to be a grandparent.
Beet: I feel very worried for those after us.
Rufus_T_Firetween: I'll bet
Cease: do you have grandkids, beet?
Beet: I have no progeny.
Beet: That I'm aware of (bad joke).
Cease: They aren't biological grandkids. Bit was killed before she had any kids but her boyfriend later married and they now have 4 kids, all of whom consider us theri grandparents, and we function accordingly.
Cease: Our 12 year old twin grand daughters play Proctor and bERgman in the Ossman Project and my previous play CAST. Also in the new play I[m writing.
Rufus_T_Firetween: There was a female comedian a while back who joked, "I don't have any children. That I know of... (wink)"
Beet: I still feel very strongly for the young folks even though they're not mine. I hope the miracle occurs and they'll be OK.
Rufus_T_Firetween: kewl Cease
Cease: that is funny, tween
Cease: it
Rufus_T_Firetween: Yes, we have definitely handed them a pile of shite :/
Cease: it's great to have that kind of relationships to the very young.
Cease: to help them out
Beet: A lot of children in the world needlessly suffering.
Cease: it is our job to help where we can
Cease: why are there so few of us here tonight?
Beet: The eternal question.
Cease: i was too ill to be here very long last week, and i return to an even smaller audience. maybe i should go away for a longer time
Beet: I do not second that motion.
llanwydd: yeah where is everybody?
llanwydd: its amazing how many people we have here some nights but once in a while this happens
Cease: you have campaing chronicles, right, tween? how many hours is that?
Cease: yeah lllan
Rufus_T_Firetween: I'm advertising on the FST Twitter link, my own FB page, the official FST FB page, 3 FST FB fan pages and recently Ossman and Proctor's FB pages
Rufus_T_Firetween shrugs
Rufus_T_Firetween: Yeah I do Cease
Beet: I wish we could nail down the cause for these absenses.
Cease: i'll have part 2 of math/science next week and then for oct, campaign chronicles, pappoon, my firesign radio piece Power.
Cease: that's all of oct right, tween?
Rufus_T_Firetween: kewl
Rufus_T_Firetween: Sounds like it

||||||||| Babe Boomer says “We’re Live On PBS!” in the video WEIRDLY COOL Catch Firesign’s Live TV Studio Performance On DVD!
Beet: These accents, as funny as they are, would never be allowed these days.
Cease: in the last one, they say fuckk all the time. you want to edit that?
Beet: I don't mind.
Rufus_T_Firetween: It would be good to bleep it
Rufus_T_Firetween: RFD would appreciate it
Cease: want me to do it?
Rufus_T_Firetween: They like to at least try to please the FCC
Rufus_T_Firetween: If you have the time, sure
Beet: Do they have something against blue material?
Cease: i've done it for most of the collages
Rufus_T_Firetween: OK
Rufus_T_Firetween: The FCC does, Beet
Cease: as i said recently, i want to spend the next few months writing and recording stuff for my new play.
Beet: Oh, yeah.
Rufus_T_Firetween: there are rules for what goes out on the airwaves
llanwydd: ink squeezed from berries! lol
Rufus_T_Firetween: S & F bombs are to be avoided when they can
Beet: I understand.
Rufus_T_Firetween: Let me know how I can help with the new play, Cat
Cease: covid is fucking up some of the recording sessions i wanted to do here now, but you all who can record yourselves far away would be greatly appreciatied
Rufus_T_Firetween: absolutely
Beet: I'm in.
llanwydd: Cool!
Cease: llan, beet and you all did voices for the ossman project so i can think/write lines for your voices as i can conceive them in the the totallyh of the play
Rufus_T_Firetween: Looks like I _don't_ have the CC Cease, just library entries
Beet: Sounds like fun.
Rufus_T_Firetween: please send the edited versions
Cease: firesign pal Richard Fish is going to be the the voice of Egyptian news and I'm going to record my transcendal culinary expereinces in VEgas as Mubarak was overthrown in 2011

Rufus_T_Firetween: I'm open to suggestions on how we could spread the word
Rufus_T_Firetween: Are there any other places where FST fans gather?
Rufus_T_Firetween: Maybe Elayne would know
Beet: We need a time machine set for 1971.
Cease: you asked proc and oss to help out.good for you.
Rufus_T_Firetween: No, that's when Nixon took us off the Golad Standard ;)
Cease: elayen et all, are getting so old.
Rufus_T_Firetween: and we were still at war with Vietnam
Rufus_T_Firetween: *Gold
Cease: age no longer fuels her to get an audience or even memory of firwesgn
Beet: sad :(

Beet: I like buses.
Cease: my memory of 65 years ago is limited
Beet: Spent a lot of time on them all over the world.
Rufus_T_Firetween: They're wanting to install lots more public transport in Austin. Seriously bad air quality already, and people moving here in droves to escape California
llanwydd: I have ridden a double decker bus in london
Beet: Really?
Rufus_T_Firetween: Light rail, fast bus routes
Rufus_T_Firetween: hope people go for it

Rufus_T_Firetween: Beet: Dell is there also. << all the big players are here

Cease: wow
Rufus_T_Firetween: unfortunately, The Live Music Capital Of The World is no more
