Cease: hey el
Cease: you know tom gedwillow, dont you elayne
Cease: merl should be here
||||||||| Bill Sprawl pokes his head in through the window and shouts "MARCHING TO SHIBBOLETH! Click to order!"
Cease: this is kind of an historic chat, and your presence here is perfect
||||||||| With a theatrical clearing of his throat, Catherwood snorts derisively: "9:14 PM and late as usual, it's residualecho, just back from Billville."
Cease: hey echo
Beet: Hey, Echo
Cease: just in time to hear yourself
residualecho: YAHOO
Elayne: Sorry, I was in another window. I Tom here?
Cease: not yet but i invited him. i meant you had met him in person?
Elayne: It's difficult when you people don't actually use your real names like Cat and I do. :)
Elayne: No, never met Tom nor his lovely wife, the late and multi-talented Deborah.
Cease: and i only use Cat here occasionally
||||||||| Bebop Lobo reminds all you hep cats to listen to Firesign’s NEW 24/7 RADIO STATION Click to listen anytime!"
residualecho: Hey, it's OK, we're all associates of The FIresign Theatre
Cease: true enough, ehoc.
Cease: i have video of echo having dinner with you, elayne
Elayne: Yes, but "Cease" is sort of a bastardization of your initials, so that's closer to your real name than a Firesign ref is.
Cease: true, el
Elayne: Who's echo in real life?
Cease: from "c.simril"
Cease: this guy
||||||||| Babe Boomer says “We’re Live On PBS!” in the video WEIRDLY COOL Catch Firesign’s Live TV Studio Performance On DVD!

residualecho: Hi Elayne, I had fun hanging out with you at Imagineering
Elayne: Hi Brian!
Elayne: I vaguely remember, echo.
Merlyn: Hey
Elayne: As Cat will attest, Dr Memory and I are not the best of friends.
Beet: Greetings, Merlyn
Cease: the springfield was very important to the firesigns as they were forming
Cease: you just missed yhourself, merl
residualecho: One of my best memories at Imagineering was watching crows cracking walnuts in the parking lots and fighting over who could claim the spoils.
Merlyn: I miss me
Cease: ossman says that about springfield in one of the rfo podcasts
Elayne: I'm jealous of anyone with memories, echo. I remember I visited Disneyland, but that's about it.
residualecho: But you hung out where they invented Disneyland too
Elayne: Okay echo, I'll say this one more time before I leave. I. Don't. Remember.
Elayne: Have a good evening, everone.
Merlyn: sure E
Cease: be here now, el
Beet: See you later, Elayne
residualecho: G'nite!
DJTweeny: be well Elayne
DJTweeny: Hi residualecho
residualecho: Hi DJT
Cease: doc tech wrote that intro
Cease: it's getting too hot to have a long beard now
residualecho: The really useful thing about not remembering is that there are carefully rerecorded recharacterizations of reality so we can always be reminded of what we would have remembered had we not been several people since then.
Cease: elyane returns
Cease: reminds me of Upload, echo
residualecho: Upload on Hulu?
Cease: i saw it on amazon
Cease: the best thing i saw in my free month on it. ends tomorrow
Cease: no this is gretchen, not elayne

Cease: hi gen
Beet: Evening General Sir
General Dysfunction: is it me? am i here?
Cease: maybe you're in 2 places at once
||||||||| Mayor P'nisnose strides up to the podium and speaks: "My fellow Armenians, if you have questions about exorcism, buy the new book "EXORCISM IN YOUR DAILY LIFE", now on sale. Incidentally, so is my vote."
Rufus_T_Firetween: ** Listen/Download Cat’s collage “WE'RE DOOMED! PART ONE” at >> http://kurtericson.com/cat/#FIRESIGN_AUDIO_BIOS
DJTweeny: Tent Hut! General
General Dysfunction: yup two places, thank goodness!
Cease: their portland shows are called Talking Over Each Other
General Dysfunction: best hotel in town indeed
||||||||| Catherwood enters with SidFudd close behind, mutters something about disrupting his 9:45 PM tree-stunting plans, and rushes off to the anteroom.
Cease: Hey Fudd
Beet: Hi Sid
Cease: Did Doc send you a copy of this?
Captain Equinox: Great stuff!
||||||||| Chick Lambert fades in and says: "I have no idea who this Friedstein Theatre is, but they 're honing in on my territory over at Duke of Madness Motors. Give 'em the what for, Storm!" "RUFF! RUFF!"
SidFudd: yes he did, thanks
SidFudd: Hey you crazy heads - can you do me a favor? If you bought "Duke of Madness Motors" you probably know that the "Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Inquisition" episode is just 38 minutes long because there was no known complete aircheck. Well now there is - a fan sent me a low-fidelity copy of the whole thing, so I used it to fill in the gaps and make a new complete version
DJTweeny: allo Sid
||||||||| Captain Equinox flies in through the transom, landing on the bearskin rug. "Attention, solstice squad! After working a 12-hour day, I like to kick back and swill some juice out of a genuine Firesign coffee mug or Bear Whiz Beer stein!"
SidFudd: It turns out it's got a lost "Mutt and Smut" episode! Anyway now that there's a complete version we want everyone to have it for free, especially the people who've already bought "Duke". Here's a download link: http://footnoteconspiracy.com/datadump/FT%20DF%201970-10-18%20-%20A%20Funny%20Thing%20Happened%20v2.mp3
Captain Equinox: WOW
DJTweeny: wow Sid
SidFudd: I'm no longer on Facebook so if you could spread it around I'd appreciate it
||||||||| The TV flickers on, and Ralph Spoilsport appears: "How can you drive in two places at once when you don't have a genuine Ralph Spoilsport license plate frame? Get one for your car and one for the plate in your head!"
Cease: We sure will, Fuddy
DJTweeny: Thanks so much Sid
Cease: did the library of congress get all the rfo shows pete did?
Cease: kpfk, krla, etc etc
General Dysfunction: uh oh, ruh roh, gotta walla go
||||||||| "9:49 PM? I'm late!" exclaims General Dysfunction, who then rushes out through the french doors and down through the flowerbeds.
SidFudd: LOC got absolutely everything we had in the archive, so yes, they've got everything we know about, including stuff fans sent me that I had on my hard drive
Cease: by gen
Cease: but you never got a copy of the last exit to fresno?
SidFudd: I got furloughed from my job so I'm doing nothing but Firesign and Duck's Breath archival & production work seven days a week - if the circumstances weren't so awful, it'd be a dream come true
Cease: i hope i live long enough to hear the krla shows again.
Beet: G'Nite Gen Dys.
SidFudd: nope, "Last Tunnel to Fresno" never turned up
Beet: Thanks Sid for the download!
Cease: they were instrumental in my persuing this path
Cease: you were at the bar on whidbey with bergman, ossman and proctor when we talked about that.
SidFudd: it was nice going through the Duck's Breath paper archive and seeing not only copies of Firesignal but correspondence that showed they'd talked to Austin and Ossman back in the day for advice
Cease: someone had skimmed out the middle hours of the krla shows. bergman thought he knew who it was
Cease: i have to explore more of their material, fudd
SidFudd: what's diabolical is that during one of the Radio Hour Hour shows from 1970, someone brings up the topic of the Magic Mushroom shows and Austin says "Oh, yes, I've got all those"
Cease: i remember that. that gave me hope
||||||||| Ralph Spoilsport drives in through the door and says "Buy a new or used T-shirt from the Firesign Theatre Cafepress store! Hurry before this sentence ends!"
Cease: i told you i leant my copy to someone in sask and never got it back
Cease: i was trying to get undreground radio going in my home province at the time
Cease: i recorded the whole mushroom ouvre from a replay in 68 on as irecall, kppc dude.
Merlyn: I'll post the link and info on Facebook, Taylor
Cease: maybe ossman will know who he is. i'm thinking friday or saturday night dj
residualecho: We had KTBT, "Underground 94 Roooooolllllllsssss another one" in a Garden Grove mall, Disneyland adjacent.
Cease: friend of the group
Cease: you have a copy of Peter, Paul and Harry?
Cease: therefore, does the library have it?
Captain Equinox: G'night, Bouys and Gulls! See ya soon!
Cease: by cap
Captain Equinox: Keep '[em Flying!
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 10 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
Beet: Nite Cap'm
SidFudd: no I don't think I've ever heard "Peter Paul & Harry"
SidFudd: Peter did keep a crappy video recording of "Help Me Out Of This Head" tho
SidFudd: soooooooooooo much stuff left to reissue but right now the priority is the Rhino "Millennium" trilogy - we've completely remastered it and it'll come with a full set of scripts
Beet: You made my voice sound better than it normally does.
Cease: Krassner had a vhs copy when i visited him in 95. i wanted to see it, but it wasnt possible at the time.
Cease: his widow may still have it.
Cease: you are listening to the "ad" for it now, fuddy
Cease: here's Llan. why isn't he here?
Beet: That's exciting bews about the millenniom trilogy
Beet: news
Cease: i really like llan's voice

Cease: my old cat early in the morning
SidFudd: Mraaaaaaaaaow
DJTweeny: haha
Beet: Bad typing leads to many jokes.
Cease: it does
Cease: firesign take advantage of that in audio
Cease: even good typing
Beet: It is a dream of mine at some point to see the complete Susskind interview.
Cease: what is that line about bad sperring
Beet: lol
SidFudd: the complete Susskind interview is on the S'More Entertainment DVD
Cease: isn't that on the eykiw dvd, beet?
DJTweeny: lol @ the kids
Beet: I think parts of it but not all. At least that's the way I remember it.

Beet: I never knew that your sign-off was prerecorded, Dr Tween. The secret is out!!!
Cease: i'm sure your boom dot bust project will be just as good, tween
DJTweeny: Yeah, it is
DJTweeny: I like what I did for Boom Dot Bust
Cease: i like what i've heard
DJTweeny: It starts with my doing PB's "The 4th Is More Than A Day!" :-)
Beet: Nobody does shlock mock like FST.
Cease: true, beet
Beet: Big finish
DJTweeny: Of course the title of this DOMM was edited for a bit on the Dear Friends album
DJTweeny: Ossman did a great job pulling out all those great clips
DJTweeny: from the Dear Friend's series
Cease: as did Doc with DF 2
Beet: My shoes are too loose.
Beet: More Sugar and More Fantasies.
Cease: stp
Cease: take home carnation
DJTweeny: Yeah, DF 2 was excellent
Beet: This is my favorite back ground music.
Cease: insidious drug ref
Beet: This is way out of left field, but I saw a Youtube on soda jerks last night. These guys used to be real artists. One of my favorites was a Cherry Phosphate.
Cease: down, pluto, down
DJTweeny: Wasn't it Abbie Hoffman who said 'Rock & Roll is the soundtrack to the movie of my life' (or something to that effect)
Beet: Sounds very profound

Beet: Ed was a little stiff.
DJTweeny: I'm surpised Sullivan would even let him on the show
Cease: i read about thatr somewhere recently.
DJTweeny: Dylan is not exactly 'family entertainment'
Cease: it was dylan's bday so lots of infor came out
