DJTweeny: The Moog Music factory is there
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : Oh yeah! Been there! Actually the music scene in and around Asheville is pretty active, more than in Memphis.
DJTweeny: wow, kewl
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : I had expected little besides bluegrass, but there’s a wide variety of local music. From electronic to 70s & 80s tribute bands some country, punk, new wave.
DJTweeny: excellent
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : I was playing a small gig in Asheville a couple of months ago, when a gray-haired lady walks up & asks me to tell her about the equipment i was using. I answered in broad terms not getting technical at all. Then she tells me she works for Moog, that she had been in their R&D but now was in HR. I felt like an idiot!
