Merlyn: I've got 2 META commands in the header to turn off caching and one to refresh every N seconds

Tweeny: for it not to work in OS X Snow Leopard and M$ 10 means there must be something fundamental with the script interpretation on the server side

doctecazoid2: ok, from the looks of things the issue is with firefox
Merlyn: doc, try loading the log, type some text, and see if it shows up in the log after a manual refresh
doctecazoid2: chrome seems to be working fine, firefox was not responding to my chat msgs, and it didn't log me out of chat when i exited out
Merlyn: it takes minutes for me to see the new text, but it otherwise works OK for the chat itself
Merlyn: I'm on a mac 10.13.3 high sierra, safari 11.0.3

Merlyn: keep the log open in a tab, type more chat, then try refreshing the log
Merlyn: it will not refresh for minutes

Merlyn: even though I can see that the text has changed on the website in ssh
Merlyn: you have to type new text and see that refresh does NOT show the new stuff right away
Merlyn: the first time you get the page, it's fine because there's no caching messing things up
