||||||||| Catherwood leads doctec into the room, accepts a grimy quarter as a gratuity, grumbles something about 7:08 PM, then departs.

doctec: high class - traffique

doctec: man they got a lot of mileage out of that cow sound effect
||||||||| TwenOneTweenAll runs out the back door as Mayor P'nisnose blasts through the front door holding a shotgun and shouting "Where's TwenOneTweenAll?! It's 7:12 PM and my ballot boxes haven't been stuffed yet!"
doctec: i can stay on chat until lili finishes preparing supper
||||||||| "7:12 PM? 7:12 PM!!" says Catherwood, "TweenOneTweenAll should be here by now...oh, THERE you are!" as TweenOneTweenAll enters and sits at the bar.

cease: good yo got that. the first time i tried to send it, it was returned. i had the wrong email address for doctech, oddly
cease: are you here, tween?
doctec: well, i'm odd so it doesn't surprise me in the least

fordprefect: see you all on the funway, yippee tie one on!
fordprefect: [got Cascade date tix]
Merlyn: af-ford-able tix
||||||||| Catherwood tiptoes into the room, and intones "Announcing 'Sarah', also known as 'Nancy' -- the time is 7:42 PM" -- then he slowly retires back into the anteroom...
cease: greetings ford, sarah
Sarah: I am so honored to be AKA Nancy.
Merlyn: hey ford, sarah

Merlyn: I think they are cat
||||||||| A time machine materializes at 7:44 PM and Dr.Benjamin waltzes out, carrying a grape from ancient Greece.

doctec: the fresh chef - one of my all time faves
cease: isnt this their 3rd appearance on hartmann?
fordprefect: err oregon shows i mean, I'm a little surprised the Redding show was GA wondered if that was a house policy or artist policy

doctec: man it's so nice to hear that bit in high-fidelity
Dr.Benjamin: yeah...sounds really good!
Merlyn: ford, I think the ticket selling got messed up, some sold GA and some reserve, so they had to go all GA to make it work
doctec: hey is anyone taping the show out there?
doctec: wow
doctec: thank grid someone was
Sarah: You'll probably be able to download the archive on FMU.
Dr.Benjamin: of course!
Sarah: Whoops, sorry Slow of me.
doctec: what i heard is that each of these shows will be online for a week on wfmu
doctec: but what i don't know is the bit rate of the show in archived form
Merlyn: yes, WFMU will have it, and eventually for sale on the site too
Dr.Benjamin: Nurgi Clockwork Films Presents.....
doctec: i'm listening to the 128kbps stream now and it sounds pretty good
fordprefect: ugh, oh well can't complain (but sometimes i still do) to paraphrase J walsh--purchasing at a distance here so hope the Cascade is sightline friendly--if it hasn't changed radically since my childhood, should be good.
doctec: gotta give thanks to taylor jessen for his work on these shows - acquiring them from various sources, cleaning them up and feeding them to wfmu for them to play
Merlyn: also had to edit out music that can't be heard by dogs
cease: yes taylor did a great job. did you hear the story proc and metsger had last week about taylor prowling a ruined house for firesign tape?
Merlyn: wow, sounds fun cat, no, where did proc say that
doctec: yes, i viewed that proctor/metzger interview session last weekend, taking a break from working on the firesale store
cease: its on that dangerous minds interview you told me about, merl
Merlyn: oh, haven't had a chance to get to that, cat
