||||||||| Catherwood re-enters the Waiting Room and explains "This is the main discussion room which is logged each night."
||||||||| Catherwood announces, "The time is 4:33 AM - I now declare Thursday's chat log for December 24, 2009 officially open!"... and then, he retires back to the vestibule...
||||||||| Catherwood stumbles in and intones "Presenting 'Firebroiled', just granted probation at 5:03 AM", then leaves hurriedly.
Firebroiled: Well, do you know about the gatherin’?

I said, do you know about the gatherin’?

I say the gatherin’ of the Revolutionary Forces!
Well, that’s gonna be at Reverend Willie’s pad--at three o’clock this afternoon
--and be on time . . .

Firebroiled:

Ha, ha, ho!
You bet, Dear Friends, it is going to be all right.

It’s going to be all right tonight, here
at the Powerhouse Church

of the Presumptious Assumption of the Blinding Light.

Firebroiled:

Yes, Friends, welcome to Pastor Flash’s our of Reckoning,
with Organ Leroy at his organ again,
and the Fifty-Voice St. Louis Aquarium Choir.

I’m Decon E. L. Mouse.
But, Dear Friends in these days of modern time,
when you can’t tell the AC’s from the DC’s,
well aren’t we all yearning for someone
who can turn on a little stopping power?

Dear Friends, I mean a smokey glass.
Don’t you think I mean a lightning rod
with which to chase these spooks away?

Don’t you know I mean our own Pastor Rod Flash!

He’s been up for a week, but he’s coming down!.

Firebroiled:

I’m down!

Thank you, Dear Friends,

I’m down,
I’m grounded,
safe and sound,
trailing clouds of glory,

I’m down.
And I’m marching!

Yes, Dear Friends,

I’m marching to dinner!

‘Cause Godamighty,
I’m hungray!
Yes! I’m hungray!

Safe and sound and hungray!

||||||||| Firebroiled leaves at 5:05 AM, singing "Oh, I'm just a little fishy, floating in the sea, and there ain't no hook that's smart enough to catch the likes of me..."
||||||||| Catherwood enters with YuleTween close behind, mumbles something about disrupting his 8:47 PM tree-stunting plans, and scurries off to the sitting room.
||||||||| Catherwood strides in with a trumpet, plays a fanfare, and proclaims "Nine PM on Thursday, December 24, 2009 - I now declare alt.comedy.firesgn-thtre's chat officially open!"
||||||||| Catherwood sneaks into the room, and pipes up "Announcing 'llanwydd', also known as 'Nancy' -- the time is 9:04 PM" -- then he slowly retires back into the Aviary...
llanwydd: merry christmas eve!
||||||||| c's enters at 9:07 PM as Catherwood takes their hat and goat and runs off to the Hat Pack Annex.
c's: even more merriment to you, ll
llanwydd: not surprised there are so few of us tonight
llanwydd: by the way, cat. who is Firebroiled?
llanwydd: I've always wondered but not enough to ask
c's: he used to be a regular. now i think, a bot
llanwydd: I see
c's: i was just watching rachel maddow's guest make a cidre-centril punch. with i was there to drink it
c's: thats more than dave cna say
c's: i wodner if anyone else will show up?
llanwydd: likely we won't be the only ones
llanwydd: I've never watched rachel maddow
llanwydd: I've seen her name in the "guide"
llanwydd: so, tween. why are you in parentheses?
c's: i met her on crusie last year. big star in your country now
c's: she is doing your country a lot of good just by being on tv
llanwydd: well, like I say, I've only seen her name
c's: i think tween dropped by to see if there was a chat, then had other things to do
llanwydd: well and don't remember the face
c's: i watch her show on website, so can you
c's: my particular cabel package does not include her network
llanwydd: well, I know she's on tv. I could watch her anytime. I believe she is on msnbc
c's: so cant see her on tv, but website is open even to us canucks, unlike parent nbc shows
llanwydd: so, what's so special about rachel?
c's: yes. many us networks dont allow us foreigners to watrch, audio too
c's: i knew her from radio. she has a kind of upliftedness, no matter how hideous the story, it was better cuz is thru the fiilter of her voice
c's: works on tv too, though sometimes the make up/lighting are hideous
YuleTween: Evenin' folks, and Merry Christmas
c's: yo ho ho and a merry old tween
llanwydd: all they have to do is disconnect the cable
YuleTween )
YuleTween: How's the weather in Van? Christmasy?
llanwydd: could be just the three of us tonight
YuleTween: JL said he might stop in
llanwydd: you folks are closer to the north pole so you have christmas early
c's: surpirisngly pleasent today
llanwydd: some recent years ago we had christmas on thursday and phil austin stopped in
YuleTween: Kewl
c's: when i see him next week, i'll ask him to drop by chat again
llanwydd: that would be great
c's: maybe if people knew in advance, people who wanted to ask him something could prepare, as it were
c's: he was in to that at one time, and may again? who knows
llanwydd: that's true
llanwydd: when ossman stopped in he gave advance notice didn't he?
c's: the lads are into doing and promoting shows now, for their own creative and economic health. so tapping into this chat and other supprt networks is only logical
llanwydd: that was three or four years ago
c's: yes llan
c's: i talked to him on phone recently. he told me to proselytize. like i need to be told
llanwydd: lol
YuleTween: {paraenthesis) means 'marked away', LL
llanwydd: I've been a firesign proselytizer for years
c's: i was with doc tech and merl when they met the gang and offered their services, which are still being taken advantage of
llanwydd: I see, tween
YuleTween: Yes, I'm surprised they haven had a more regular presence here
c's: llan tween, if you can do something to benefit them, they'd be deligthed
YuleTween: Not that there are som many people here, of course, but still
YuleTween: Would be useful, one would think
c's: but aksing for them to appear among us is i think problematic
llanwydd: monetarily, it would be difficult at present but if I could do anything else I certainly would
YuleTween: OK, I'll see if I can get in contact with some local theatres :)
c's: yes trween you contacted proc about austin theatre potential, eh?
c's: austiin could drive there
c's: if enough tickets sold
c's: llan, you[re in a far away place, i gather.
YuleTween: Straight shot to San Antonio on I-10, and then a couple of hours north on I-35 to Austin
llanwydd: I'm about 300 miles directly north of new york city
c's: hes in la, tween
YuleTween: Yeah, I-10 runs there, doesn't it?
c's: as they say on that video interview, they are looking for gigs
YuleTween: Glad to hear that they're actively looking
llanwydd: I'm dying to hear another studio album
c's: indeed
c's: money would have to materialize for them to do thatr, llan
llanwydd: I understand that
llanwydd: maybe their entire worldwide audience can pitch in
c's: nah
llanwydd: so where's clem tonight?
YuleTween: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_10_in_California
c's: i forget whqt they said last week, but most people do things at this time of year
llanwydd: he probably told us last week but I don't remember
llanwydd: I'm probably going to see a bridge demolished on monday
llanwydd: I've driven over it hundreds of times
c's: i hope clem and bambi are having as fine old time as young scrooge at feziwig's xmas dance
llanwydd: I saw an 80 year old film of the opening of the bridge just today
llanwydd: that reminds me I played scrooge back in '05
llanwydd: got payed pretty well for it
c's: but now you're generous?
llanwydd: paid
llanwydd: I tell you my spelling embarrasses me these days
llanwydd: I used to be very good at it. I don't know what happened
c's: at least you can spell embarasses
c's: drugs?
llanwydd: that joke got past me, cat
llanwydd: I mean about scrooge
llanwydd: very good though
YuleTween: Yeah, I-10 runs right through LA to the coast
YuleTween: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File%3ACalifornia_Interstate_10.svg

YuleTween: Yes, Clem & Bambi are taking the night off to relax during the holidays

YuleTween: I'll bet Carlin and FST got along fabuously

c's: try that
YuleTween: Getting the same message :( Let me get into OS X
||||||||| "9:48 PM? I'm late!" exclaims YuleTween, who then hurries out through the french doors and down through the garden.
c's: can you guys get into tom's chromius switch site? thats the host for thiis
c's: it doesnt need to go thru facebook
c's: tom had a lot of trouble postnig this yest
||||||||| Catherwood enters with YuleTween close behind, mumbles something about disrupting his 9:52 PM tree-stunting plans, and dashes off to the sitting room.
YuleTween: OK, got it now (Carlin)

||||||||| It's 10:00 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
||||||||| llanwydd - dead from dengue fever
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
YuleTween: Right
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 10 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
YuleTween: OK, back over to OS 9
||||||||| 10:01 PM -- YuleTween left for parts unknown.   (Entry from Nick Danger's "Idiots I Have Been Paid To Follow").
c's: is this the smallest turn out ever?
c's: its almost existential
||||||||| c's dashes out the back door as Mayor P'nisnose blasts through the front door holding a shotgun and shouting "Where's c's?! It's 10:03 PM and my ballot boxes haven't been stuffed yet!"
||||||||| Catherwood strides up and announces "Presenting 'YuleTween', just granted probation at 10:04 PM", then leaves hurriedly.
YuleTween: Hey, where'd everybody go??
||||||||| 10:06 PM -- YuleTween left for parts unknown.   (Entry from Nick Danger's "Idiots I Have Been Paid To Follow").
||||||||| Catherwood escorts YuleTween into the room, accepts an I.O.U. as a gratuity, mumbles something about 10:23 PM, then departs.
||||||||| YuleTween leaves at 10:53 PM, singing "Oh, I'm just a little fishy, floating in the sea, and there ain't no hook that's smart enough to catch the likes of me..."
||||||||| Catherwood enters, and announces to all and sundry "It's 4:32 AM, time to change the log file and clean out unused rooms; please exit the chat room for a minute or two. Thank you for your patience."
