||||||||| Catherwood trudges in at 8:00 PM, dragging Tweeny by the hair and asks "Can anyone vouch for this yahoo?"
||||||||| Gusts of wind blow in from outside and the thumpa-thumpa-thumpa of helicopter blades is heard as Happy Panditt's chopper lands on the lawn and Mutt plummets into the garden at 8:00 PM.

Mutt: Hi Mr. DJ. Guess I’m a tad early
Mutt: Suppose I have time enough for some attitude adjustment afore the show
Tweeny: Yeah, it starts at the top of the hour
Mutt: Been a lurker for a long time but never jumped in until a few weeks back. Was fun to finally participate
Mutt: Fire in the hole!
Mutt: Kush Mint - very smooth! Still can’t believe I have lived long enough to buy smoke legally and without fear of reprisals.

Beet: Hi, Deputy, Tween, Mutt.
Deputy Dang: Howdy, Beet!
Beet: I am envious of our brother Cat who is enjoying the riches of Spain. Wonderful place.
Mutt: Never been. My Spanish is still pretty good but kind of a mix. I learned from folks from all over the Spanish speaking world.
Mutt: Not sure my Castillian is up to snuff
Beet: I'd love the opportunity to use it again. Closest I come is at a Mexican restaurant.
Tweeny: Yo Beet
Tweeny: Hope Cat can join us, but it might be difficult to do so from his phone

Tweeny: Yeah, my shift today ended before the start of the show

Mutt: I can understand spoken Spanish very well, and can read it intelligently enough. My speaking skills are not what they were.
Tweeny: I work in a grocery store in Austin, and Spanish is spoken as often as English

Tweeny: Many of my co-workers are bilingual
Beet: The sound of the language in Spain is much softer.
Tweeny: I'm a bit jealous ;) I really need to learn the language

Mutt: Spanglish is frickin’ fun
Tweeny: Yeah, they switch back and forth in the same sentence depending on what best suits the conversation
Tweeny: It's wild

Mutt: You get the hang of it eventually. It also depends on where you are as this stuff changes .

Beet: What part of the city is your workplace located?

Tweeny: The grocery chain I work for has stores only in Texas and Mexico. You have to be bilingual to go very far in the corporation, I'd wager
Tweeny: Southeast Austin, Beet, but they have stores all over the city

Mutt: English is still the language of big business so I wouldn’t be too concerned

llanwydd: he might have jet lag

Tweeny: He has said he might not be able to connect from his phone :/

llanwydd: I kndw a guy who contacted me and a couple of other friends over whatsapp from ireland
Deputy Dang: It's after midnight in Spain now.
llanwydd: they say spain is pretty, though Ive never been
Tweeny: That's another good point, Deputy (the time difference)
Beet: Daniel has been there a lot
